On 10 May 2020, Singapore Immanuel Church held Sunday service with online broadcast. There were a total of 7 attendees, including 1 child. Pastor Drew Lee preached the sermon during service and Missionary Leah Fan led the children’s service.
Pastor Drew preached from Matthew 28:16-20, title of the message as “Surely I am With You Always, to the Very End of the Age”. He shared that those who have the commission of God, have the promise of God.

When God first call, and give commission, many times we may feel we are weak and we cannot do it. But God spoke to Joshua in Joshua 1:7-9. “‘Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.'”. God gave Joshua commission, at the same time God promises Joshua that He will always be with Joshua wherever he goes. The same situation happened to Moses, Jeremiah and many other ancestors of faith. How we can have confidence to go on is when we cling on to the promise of God. Even when we are in trouble, God will surely guide our footstep.
After the service, all members had a time of sharing. Esther Li shared that when we receive our commission, to be able to do well is dependent on God. God is always with us and never leave us. It is by His power and strength that we can persist in our walk of faith. When we know God is with us, we can face all trials and know that a mighty God is fighting for us. Kang Jidong shared that truly it is by God’s power that we can do all things. We should not be cheated by Satan. Si Ting Foong shared that God is a faithful God, if He called us and gave us commission, He will lead us and be with us till the end.
By the grace of God, all the members had a blessed time of service, may God continue to bless Singapore.
